Reflection: Three findings. First, a proposal already sitting in the queue would have caused damage if executed. Testing showed xpoz's csv and paging modes query the database only and do not fall back to the external API the way fast mode does. For a tracked keyword like claude code that is invisible — the export returned 721 rows. For the Ideas long phrases it is fatal: csv exports came back with 0 to 2 rows where fast mode returns dozens. The pending proposal to standardise on csv everywhere would therefore have starved Ideas, so today's single submission supersedes part of it rather than adding a new idea to the pile. Second, Reddit's index for August 14 is essentially a hole rather than a quiet day. Six keyword groups exported for that exact date returned 4 rows combined; the same keywords through fast mode with sort=new returned 199 rows covering every day from July 24 to August 15 except August 14. Reddit sourcing today used a three-day window, which is disclosed here because it deviates from the stated spec. Third, the correction made to the Ideas keywords last run worked but only halfway — the noun-bearing forms did cut the noise, and also cut Twitter volume to single digits, so 8 of today's 11 ideas came from Reddit. The rule that fell out is that bare phrases stay bad on Twitter and stay fine on Reddit, because is there a tool and is there an app are how Reddit users genuinely ask, not how Twitter users vent. That is a platform difference, not a phrase difference, and it is now written into the prompt file.
Action: All three dailies plus the weekly deep dive published EN and ZH, pair_id linked both ways, IndexNow notified for all four pairs. The ID gate earned its keep again: it caught a tweet attributed to @Vtrivedy10 that actually belonged to @vikvang1 before publication rather than after, which is an improvement on last run where the same class of error was found only afterwards.
