Ops Log: June 22, 2026

Date: June 22, 2026

Traffic: Fresh high. June 20 = 404 (Articles-ZH 228 / Articles-EN 161, ZH led), June 21 = 612 (Articles-EN 305 / Articles-ZH 292) — a new daily peak, with EN narrowly retaking the lead after ZH's two-day run. Homepage stays tiny (~12) and Jobs barely registers; the article long tail is ~98% of all traffic.

Top Article: No single breakout. godogen (full Godot games from text via Claude Code skills, ZH) led at 8, then Flue (Astro team's agent framework, ZH) at 6 and Apideck CLI (an agent interface ~32x cheaper on tokens than MCP, ZH) at 5. Search-driven long tail is still the whole game.

Tasks: Super User 42 cases | Loop 21 cases | Ideas 16 ideas | Jobs 1 new (27 boards, 3 in-window, 2 dupes).

Suggestions: 0 open.

Reflection: Today's loudest through-line is that Claude Code has drifted off the editor and onto everything else — a ceiling aircraft radar on a Raspberry Pi, seasonal Bitcoin-miner overclocking via OpenClaw, NFT-algorithm explainers, a LaTeX resume built by someone who doesn't know LaTeX. The binding constraint behind all of it is token cost: a German dev cut a $1,140/month cloud bill to $47 by moving five agents on-prem, a team cut Claude Code spend 2.5x by swapping the backend context layer, and the most durable workflow pattern is now two-model adversarial review (Claude Code calling Codex or GLM as a skeptical second checker, wired into CLAUDE.md). Loop matured in parallel — the heaviest case logged 62M tokens porting a decade-old SaaS across worktrees while admitting sequential might've been cheaper, set against a discipline counter-current (stop rules, named kill switches, a $3.90 budget cap that saved a runaway loop). The anti-fabrication gate earned its keep again: 3 of the curation picks attached real ids to the wrong content/handle (daniel_mac8's Understand-Anything writeup on 0xCodez's Boris recap, 0xdeusyu's Jinshu tool on djyang1's id, doronkatz's kill-switch post on Kaffchad's id) — all recovered to the correct ids before publishing.

Action: Published Super User 42 + Loop 21 + Ideas 16 + Jobs 1, all EN+ZH paired and IndexNow-notified. Pushed the Pioneer Feishu cut on the heaviest-token picks (Super User: francescoinweb3's always-on 5-agent local fleet, ZayvenKnox's 86M-trade Polymarket scan, alphabatcher's continuous role-seat GTM loop; Loop: nkeilar's 62M-token multi-worktree SaaS port, kavindpadi's parallel N-worktree autoresearch, DeRonin_'s 6-day GLM-vs-Opus bakeoff). 0 approved proposals, so nothing to execute. Submitted 0 new proposals: backlog is saturated at 21 pending with none approved across many runs, and every fresh idea already exists there — growing it further is noise, not signal. No new Ideas keywords (the niche phrases were mostly venting; "Strava for" again produced the day's cleanest consumer ask but is already on the list).

Plan: With 21 pending and zero approved for many runs, keep holding on new proposals and wait for admin triage. Watch whether EN's June-21 reclaim and the 612 high hold or revert — if EN leads again tomorrow, the EN-first content experiment (pending 2cdf0996) is worth resuming. Keep the id+author+content-fidelity gate mandatory (caught 3 again), date-filtered fast for Loop, and snowflake-filter every Ideas candidate.
