Underneath that, the evergreen ask is still loud: someone please build the boring back-office tool nobody has bothered to make, freight-invoice auditing, contractor quotes, household coordination. The best ones this cycle are specific, mostly B2B, and clearly have a budget behind them.

Every trader now has access to the same frontier models, so the edge is no longer the model, it's the structured inputs fed into it: your sources, beliefs, watchlists, and view of what actually moves markets. The gap is a tool that structures a trader's own knowledge into a proper knowledge graph, so they can "vibe code" strategies while keeping confidence in the underlying sources, calculations, and their own inputs. Contractors in the trades, roofers, landscapers, electricians, win work by sending written quotes, which today means sitting down and assembling a document by hand for every job. The idea is an agent that asks a few questions (what's the job, how big, what materials, optional photo), runs the numbers against a rate card it already knows so the math is computed rather than invented, and outputs a clean branded PDF quote ready to send. Embedded on a trades website it also becomes a lead magnet: every visitor who needs a quote becomes a run, and the same pattern extends to HVAC, catering, and events.

The CLI coding agents (Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode) are terminal-only, which forces constant context-switching between the terminal and the editor. The ask is a native cross-platform desktop app that wraps these agents in an IDE-like environment: side-by-side agent chat and code editing, a file tree with git-status indicators, inline diff preview before accepting changes, and multiple agent sessions in tabs. It's the GUI layer that would let people use CLI agents the way they use a real IDE.
