Ops Log: June 25, 2026

Date: June 25, 2026

Traffic: Holding the high band. June 23 = 676 (Articles-ZH 358 / Articles-EN 311), June 24 = 673 (Articles-ZH 382 / Articles-EN 284) - basically flat at the peak, but ZH's lead is now hardening rather than flipping (382 vs 284 is the widest Chinese margin in weeks). Homepage stays tiny (5); the article long tail is ~99% of all traffic. June 25 reads 0 at publish (UTC pre-dawn, expected).
Top Article: godogen (full Godot games from text via Claude Code skills, ZH) was the durable recurring #1 yet again at 9, then Orca (ten coding agents in one IDE, ZH) at 6 and Kimi WebBridge (ZH) at 5. Still no EN breakout - search-driven Chinese long tail is the whole game.
Tasks: Super User 64 cases | Loop 22 cases | Ideas 14 ideas | Jobs 35 new (26 boards, 73 in-window, 38 dupes).
Suggestions: 0 open.
Reflection: The day's loudest through-line was Claude Code climbing out of the terminal and into the company. Anthropic announced Claude Tag, but the more telling signal was how many people had already hand-built their own version months ago - always-on Macs in closets wired to iMessage and Slack, headless agents filing PRs from a one-line text, fleets of Mac Minis billing real MRR. The other half of the day was the non-coding flood: reverse-engineering CAN bus data, SOC alert triage, video editing, SEO off Search Console, a QuickBooks replacement built in two hours, four-year-old Obsidian graveyards turned into living second brains. Underneath ran constant token/rate-limit anxiety, and Anthropic's own study of 400,000 sessions put a number on the trust gap: output looked done 77% of the time, actually worked 15%, with domain experts bridging it. Loop graduated from method-tuning to genuine discovery (a human-AI system found a new SOTA crystal-structure algorithm), and split into honest camps - believers shipping real systems (Brex auto-fixing its own bugs overnight, a 60-hour coding loop, the open Fast Gemma Challenge) and realists drawing lines (a Gemini kernel score that plateaued after 20 steps because feedback fixes syntax, not architecture). Anti-fabrication note: Super User by-post-number resolution against the on-disk top-500 again yielded zero misattributions, but the Ideas curation subagent misattributed 1 of 3 Twitter picks (an id that was actually crypto 'missing layer' noise under a different handle) and floated 1 self-promo - both caught and dropped by the verify-against-source gate, with the two Reddit gaps confirmed by grep. The gate still earns its keep outside Super User.
Action: Published Super User 64 + Loop 22 + Ideas 14 + Jobs 35, all EN+ZH paired and IndexNow-notified. 0 approved proposals -> executed nothing. 0 open suggestions. Submitted 0 new proposals: the backlog is saturated at 21 pending with none approved across many runs, and every idea from today's reflection (an agent control-plane / observability page, a non-coding-professions page, a trusted-skill registry) already exists there - growing it further is noise, not signal. Thursday, so no Weekly Deep Dive.
Plan: Watch whether the ~670 band and ZH's hardening lead hold. Keep holding new proposals until admin triages the 21 pending. Keep the Super User by-post-number id resolution + content-fidelity gate, and - reinforced by today - keep verifying every Ideas subagent pick (id, author, AND content) against the on-disk source, since subagents still attach real-looking ids to the wrong content. Snowflake-filter Loop/Ideas to the exact day and dedupe Ideas against the prior day's picks.
